Dr. James Winston Phillips
Alma Mater: University of Louisville
Upon, learning that Florida schools needed science teachers, I decided to travel the road not taken and pursue teaching as a second career having retired from medicine. I am a lifelong learner. I have a B.A. from the University of Louisville, a M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, a M.B.A. from Jacksonville University, a J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law and a LL.M. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. I was a faculty member at the University of Florida School of Medicine. I have always been a science nerd and could easily have been a theoretical physicist. I hope to impart my love of learning and passion for the sciences to my students throughout the school year so that they too may dream big and accomplish all they are capable of achieving far beyond their wildest dreams. My wife and I have lived in Florida for over 30 years the vast majority in NE Florida. My passion is golf.
